Health Education on Self-Efficacy in Breastfeeding Mothers: Literature Review

Mother's milk is the first food for newborns and main nutrition babies. Efficacy important in breastfeeding, because it used as a parameter of mother's ability to breastfeed. Knowledge one self-efficacy factors breastfeeding. Objective: The purpose this study was determine whether there an effect health education on lactation management breastfeeding mothers. Method: research design literature review, starting with topic selection, then searching through several databases, namely Google Scholar Science Direct by entering key-words. Results conclusions: From 163 articles, we selected 9 relevant articles identify Breastfeeding interventions increase self-efficacy, infant feeding attitudes, rates exclusive Self-efficacy mothers approach encourages self-management follow plan (eg, tests, treatment, procedures, behavior change) that formulated collaboration professionals such during education.
